Cronulla MP Malcolm Kerr said today that the rigorous security arrangements applying to Shire residents attending Premier Rees’ Public Forum in the Shire this month are an insult to peace loving Shire residents. 

Sutherland Shire Labor MPs showed they are gutless after refusing to stand up for their local community by voting in the Parliament to tax parents for the cost of their children’s school travel, NSW Opposition Leader Barry O’Farrell said today. 

Member for Cronulla, Malcolm Kerr said today the NSW Liberal/Nationals Coalition will restore free travel for school children across NSW.

Cronulla MP, Malcolm Kerr said today that because of serious issues relating to the proposal upgrade of Cronulla Marina raised by the local community and Sutherland Council, it was essential that the proposal be referred to the Planning Assessment Commission.
